The NFL tells viewers, in effect, that they may not talk about the game with their friends without permission. Try as it might, the NFL does not have complete control over any pictures, descriptions, or accounts' of football games. Despite what they tell you, your account of the game over the workplace watercooler is not a felony.MLB
The New York Mets tell their viewers that they must receive WRITTEN permission prior to relating accounts of the game.Furthermore, the MLB wants viewers to get the written permission of the Commissioner of Baseball himself before talking about the game.
Professional sports leagues are not alone in misleading the public. Hollywood studios are doing the same, threatening consumers for exercising their rights. You can see these sorts of statements here:
